Please note that these pages were assembled for NON-CRITICAL use by professionally trained severe weather spotters.  Make no mistake, I do not actively promote, encourage or even recommend storm chasing or spotting.

Links may not be active due to outdated addresses or during active severe weather periods when the Internet is often overloaded.  NEVER RELY ON THE INTERNET TO BE CAPABLE OF PROVIDING LIFESAVING INFORMATION DURING PERIODS OF SEVERE WEATHER.  You must use a television, radio or (best of all) National Weather Service radio for timely critical data and warnings.

Storm spotting exposes one to many weather hazards, including but not limited to:  lightning, dangerous roads, other traffic, damaging winds, hail, and flying/falling debris, which puts the chaser's life at risk, particularly those who have little or no experience and/or storm structure education.  In addition, storm spotters and chasers also personally assume the risk and liability for any personal property damage, harm or injury they may cause to others while attempting to spot or chase a storm.  These are major liabilities, and should be taken as seriously as possible.  Learning to deal with these realities is best done by understanding super cells and thunderstorms, and spotting with an experienced spotter or riding with an experienced, professional storm chase partner.  Storm chasing is inherently dangerous and ALWAYS involves risk of injury, death or loss of property.  The author of these pages and the contents therein is not responsible for any of your actions or losses, or the consequences of same, as a result of what you see here.  Please be careful!
